I am fortunate to have known about him for awhile and have been looking forward to this upcoming release.Made in Holland this album was definitely built with care not just massed produced and pumped off the press. Listeners were therefore given an idea of what to expect in the artist's second full album from the release of the again heavily praised EP. Ben Howard's début album, the summery and uplifting 'Every Kingdom', was a collection of lovely traditional folk with telling and provoking lyrics. This double gatefold, heavyweight vinyl version of the album also comes with an extra eleventh track ‘Am I in your light?

Just one thing of note, on All Is Now Harmed there is some slight background noise but that's only if you're being picky as it doesn't really affect the overall sound.Every track is also filled with a variety of instruments (ranging from acoustic and electric guitars, to crushing cymbal drums and organs)- this gives each song multiple layers and perhaps even more depth than the likes of Howard's first album. For sure, 2/3rds of that album was undeniably catchy and tracks such as 'Wolves' and 'Keep Your Head Up' had a definite commercial edge that put him on the map both at home and state-side.
