About this deal

These headphones use four microphones and a custom-developed processor to detect and eliminate unwanted sounds. They don’t offer any control over their level of noise-cancellation, but Wyze does allow you to tweak their EQ using the company’s free mobile app. Unsurprisingly, these headphones stand out because of their excellent smart features. There are two buttons on the left headphone. One for turning it on/on (pairing)/off, one for changing listening mode. To clear things out I haven't used a lot of headphones in my lifo so this is from personal usage and sound preferences. Whether you’re on a busy commute or busy working from home, a reliable pair of noise-cancelling headphones goes a long way towards helping you stay focused and distraction-free.

The bass is so accurate but not too deep. The mids are outstanding and well-balanced. The treble is not outstanding but decent enough. It’s crisp and detailed and the level of highs and lows is well-balanced. Sometimes I think of sitting in a great concert hall. Noise Cancellation

I've also tried USB. Connected to my PC it shows up in the sound settings in Windows (headphone and mic), but I didn't get it to output or record any audio. For option 3, the volume can be adjusted on the cans independently from the source. The voice that speaks status changes also leaves something to be desired. Not that it really matters, but it feels like they recorded it with some random employee of their own to save money on the design. It leaves a less serious impression.

ANC: I have never experienced ANC until I got these headphones so it's a new thing to me. Keep in mind that this headset cancels out just NOISE, not voices, just like ambient noise. I don't use it for noise cancelling itself, but as I mentioned before, it makes the sound quality even better than it already is when it's on. These are my first Bluetooth headphones, so I didn't know what to expect. Now I know, Bluetooth compression is clearly audible and further degrades SQ. These support aptX HD, which should supposedly alleviate this pain point somewhat, alas I have no source with the necessary hardware to test this. The overall quality feels good. There is some play to all joints, but IMO not bothersome. The biggest downside is the pads. They are faux leather and thin. Similar to CB-1 but these feels softer, though that might just be an age thing on the CB-1s (which by the way, the leather has lost some of its surface on). The point is, they will wear out eventually. Here is the catch, they are GLUED in place. Sorry, no easy replacements on these, even on parts that wear out. There are 2 buttons on the right earcup, the power button, and the ANC control button. The Status Flagship ANC headphones have three modes: active noise canceling, ambient sound, and normal listening. Just press the ANC button to swap these modes. Touch Control Sound quality: The sound quality on these are amazing. Everything sounds crisp and clean. The bass is so good and gets even better when you turn on ANC. I have no complaints at all.

The headphone is in mostly plastic. The headband is supported by a thin sheet of metal on the outside in the sliding mechanism. Most surfaces has a rubbery finish. It is easy to leave fingerprints on it, otherwise it looks fine. There is a bit of small shiny plastic on the piece clamping the ends of the faux leather the headband. The right one of these are marked SAANC-FS in a muted gray. Otherwise there are no visible markings, so they are discrete and classy in that way. The faux leather is soft and feels nice against the skin. Would I recommend these headphones to someone? Yes, I would. I wear headphones almost all the time, so when these headphones die, I switch to my earbuds while they charge. Now these headphone with the headband compressed to the maximum are still too tall. The cups sit about 5-10 mm too low when the headband is touching the top of my head. Combined with the relatively low clamping force, they move more than I'd like on my head and if I turn my head about 90 degrees to look over my shoulder the cup seal is broken on one side.

The best way to listen to them is powered on and connected to AUX, without ANC. Sorry to say, the features you pay for only degrade audio and you need to keep them powered, even if you are physically connected to your source. Compared to the CB-1s, these sound more muffled across the entire spectrum (distortion?), bass is worst. Unfortunately a definite downgrade to its cheaper sibling. You are paying for features here, not price. I've only tried to use the mic during meetings. It works, but it isn't really good (like most ones that is). I've only done so over Bluetooth. Not sure if it works over cable. The provided one is only three pin and I have no four pin male to male cable to try with. Most of the usability with these seem geared toward Bluetooth use, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is not wired in a way that makes mic work over wire. Other than Bluetooth there is no obvious way to get audio and mic connected to a PC. As this is a kind of be-it-all headset, that is a large missed opportunity IMO. Say that you want to maximize your music listening, so you are connected with AUX to your PC, having the headset powered. Your friend then comes online and you want to play a game. Then you have to remove the cord from the headset, which makes it automatically power off. You then have to power it on, connect it to the PC over Bluetooth, then cycle through listening modes. Then you are still limited by Bluetooth compression. Far from ideal.A 3.5mm cable is included in case you need to plug in, offering even more versatility. The headphones are available in three colors.
